Westpark Village Recognized for Outstanding Workforce and Customer Satisfaction

Excellence in Action award recognizes exemplary commitment to quality

BILLINGS, Mont. (June 29, 2017) — Westpark Village today announced that it is the only Billings senior living community to receive the 2017 Excellence in Action award from National Research Corporation Health (NRC). The senior living community has been honored with Excellence in Action awards for four consecutive years, this year for both exemplary customer and workforce satisfaction in assisted living. Awarded exclusively to NRC clients, the awards recognize post-acute care communities that achieve the highest overall resident or employee satisfaction scores. The database is the largest source of long-term care and senior living satisfaction metrics in the nation.

“We are very proud to be recognized for reaching the top 10 percentile in the areas of willingness to recommend as a place to receive care, and appreciate our employees’ dedication to providing exceptional Platinum Service® for our residents,” said Tina Vauthier, executive director of Westpark Village. “The Excellence in Action Award reflects our ongoing commitment to our residents, their families, and our employees, and provides another valuable evaluation for families to use to select a senior living and health care community for their loved one.”

Qualifying skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living communities must have completed a customer or workforce satisfaction survey in 2017. Winners must also have received a minimum of 10 responses (achieving a response rate of at least 30 percent). Their overall responses must have scored the organization within the top 10 percent of qualifying assisted living and independent living facilities and the top 20 percent of qualifying skilled nursing on either the question, “What is your recommendation of this facility to others?” or the question, “What is your recommendation of this facility as a place to work?”

“The Excellence in Action award remains a true testament to the overall quality being provided in today’s long-term care and senior living organizations,” said Rich Kortum, Director of Strategic Partnerships at NRC Health. “The recipients of this award continue to show the importance of focusing on what matters most to their residents, families, and employees. We are honored to partner with such high-performing organizations, and wish them continued success.”
